Growing up, Tim was a big part of the blooming Arizona music scene. He was in Anger Between Slience, a band who played a few gigs with Opiate For The Masses and Victims In Ecstasy.
Next he formed Waste, together with Andrew Gerold and Jared Bakin (both from Victims In Ecstasy).
When Opiate For The Masses drummer, Elias Mallin, formed My Darling Murder, both Tim and Andy left Waste to join him. The band was a success and managed to record an EP and an album, before the departure of their singer eventually lead to the band breaking up in August, 2006.
Tim and Andy joined Wired All Wrong for a while, before both moved on to new bands.
Tim joined 30 Seconds To Mars as a touring bassist in March 2007 when Matt Wacther left. He had played with them before, standing in for mentioned Wachter when he took time off to get married.
