What do you guys think about your spirits and souls?

PROBABLY MORE THE GODS BUSINESS THAN MAN BUT E.TOLLE HAD IT RIGHT WHEN HE GAVE THE ADVICE TO TRY NOT TO THINK TOO MUCH.

Do you have any plans of a concert in Sweden or Denmark?

YES. DEFINITELY. AND SOOOOON. -J

DEFINITELY. AND WE ARE LUCKY TO HAVE SEEN SO MUCH.

OVER 1000 HOURS WORTH. WE ARE MAKING A FILM. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST! -J

Will Tim ever become an offical band member?

TIM PLAYS THE BASS WHEN WE TOUR AND DOES AN AMAZING JOB WITH THAT. BASS DURING THE RECORDING PROCESS IS HANDLED BY JARED AND TOMO. -MARS

How do you write the music you compose and sing?

How does the recording process work?

STARTS WITH THE SPARK OF DISCOVERY. A DREAM. THEN LOTS OF HARD WORK EXPLORING AND EXPERIMENTING. NO RULES. EVERY SONG ITS OWN JOURNEY. AND SOMETIMES THERE IS AN ISOLATION CHAMBER IF NEEDED. -J

What do you think is the biggest change from 1998 30stm to 2008 30stm?

TOO MUCH TO LIST BUT IT'S ALL ONES AND ZEROS ANYWAY ISN'T IT? THE ONLY CHANGE YOU CAN COUNT ON IS CHANGE ITSELF. -J

What do you think about conspiracy theories (like Zeitgeist?)

IT'S IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER THAT THEORIES ARE EXACTLY THAT. JUST THEORIES. -J

What's the relationship like btw band members?

AS GOOD AS IT GETS...MOST OF THE TIME. ; ) -J

What software do you use to record?

PROTOOLS.

Can you confirm the producer you're working with?

YES. THE BARON OF THE UNDERWORLD HIMSELF. FLOOD. -J

Are there any new symbols for the next album?

NEW ARTWORK AND A NEW WORLD.

What's your favorite gig you've played?

WE HAVE NO FAVORITE CHILDREN OR GIGS. BUT MANY THAT WE LOVE. XO -J

Will there be missions for the echelon with the new album?

- YES. WE WILL NEED TO RALLY THE TROOPS VERY VERY SOON TO START SPREADING THE WORD. MARS IS COMING...

What do you do with all the gifts?

-WE HAVE ALL SAVE SAFE AND SOUND IN THE MARS MUSEUM!

YES. IN PROGRESS.

Are you going to do a world tour?

YES WHEN THE RECORD IS DONE.

How do you manage to find others who are as passionate about your art as you are?

I HAVE NO IDEA REALLY. BUT THANKFUL THEY ARE OUT THERE, EVEN IF RARELY.

What book recommendations do you have?

Do you have any ideas for music videos yet?

YES. ; )

Are either Pythagoras or Artemis being used in the recording of the new album? If so, which one?

Of course! Both guitars have been used and will continue to be used.

When will the UK store have more merchandise?

As soon as possible we promise!!!

You underlined a couple of times, how the songs on the albums are not randomly arranged, but telling a chronological story or aiming at a bigger theme. Keeping that in mind, have you considered any changes for your usual live shows, to strengthen this element for record number three on stage? Like a more theatrical- or storyline-concept as a central theme, which could take the audience through the performance?

One simple answer, a resounding YES!

Are you open to the possibility, of giving some of the talented musicians among your fan base (some of them even regulars on this board) the chance to play the opening band for you at one show?

We have always been open to that and have done so in the past in the States.

What is the new album’s theme? You had a space theme for your first album and life issues for A Beautiful Lie. Will the next one continue in the footsteps of ABL or go in a totally new direction?

This album has really opened us up to many new possibilities and we are talking about many things. Mostly inspired by the world surrounding us while creating this record.

Will there be a special or limited edition of the new album?

We have some plans for some unique packaging and limited edition bonus content.

Do you think that there is an essential message that 30stm has transmitted since the creation of the first album? If so, do you think it has evolved into something different?

We have always believed from the beginning in having an open mind, to think for yourselves, to take risks, to challenge one self, to learn, to experience life and what it has to offer…

Will there be a return of "missions" for the echelon with the coming of a new album?

The Glyphics mission is the first. Please continue to post your pics.

Do you think all the Echelon traditions regarding the tours such as code colors and home made 30 STM gear are still cool, or do you think it is time for a change?

Important question. It is time for a change. We must continue to move forward and evolve in all respects. Presentation and identity included. The color RED is important for many reasons and will remain so. It is the color of passion, the color of blood, the color of MARS. It should be left on the MARS flag, TRINITY seal, MITHRA seal and TYRE - (the arrow) ONLY from here on out. For this next phase BLACK attire will be the foundation and the canvas to build upon. This is war. White dress is for special occasions and should be ALL WHITE NO RED on any clothing at all. It should be kept special and limited to the previously mentioned symbols and icons. Please encourage everyone to join in this experiment. It will be a sight to see. -CRASH MINISTER OF PROPAGANDA [echelon]

How far do you think you are from reaching your personal goals as members of 30 STM?

As long as we keep expressing ourselves musically and visually and sharing the experience with others, then our goals are constantly being met.
